Lindsay Lohan Hairstyles

Lindsay Lohan is one celebrity who is credited with bringing the red hair back into style arena. She has changed color of her hair numerous times. Miss Lohan has been seen with changed hair color so many times that it has becomes really very hard to keep an eye on her current hairstyle. Some colors, which Lindsay Lohan have been seen using are blonde, brunette and redhead. She must be grateful to her hairdressers who have made sure that her hair stays in absolute awesome condition during these numerous color changes. Maintaining great hair while changing hair colors is not that big a task but there are some measures with whose help you can make your hair remain healthy and beautiful not just from the inside but also from the outside. Consider some of the tips given below:

Going To Blonde from Brunette

If you have to lighten your hair more than three shades then you will have to bleach it. The natural pigment of the hair is removed with the help of a chemical called as the hydrogen peroxide, which is present in the bleach. Bleach not only damages your hair it is also permanent in its nature. You will have to touch up the roots of your hair every six to eight weeks in order to maintain the natural hair color. In order to maintain your color, the bleach should be applied only to the roots otherwise your already lightened hair will get damaged and will dry out. Deep conditioning is very helpful as it reduces the amount of damage done to your hair. It should be done at least once a week.

Going To Brunette from Blonde

While going from blonde to brunette you can opt for a reddish brown color because lighter browns make the hair to become gray in a single tone whereas the color red acts as filler. Red color also adds to the depth of your hair. When opting for a dark color keep it in your mind to maintain the red growth, because the dark blonde roots will make your top hair appear thin if you don’t lighten them. You should try to touch up the roots of your hair every four to eight weeks. You must consider a color enhancing shampoo and conditioner if you want to prevent your hair from fading away.

When the naturally dark pigment is removed then hair goes through several changes during this process. To help you with this all that you will require is the lower power bleach in order to bleach your hair to a red color from a naturally dark brown hair. Using a hair dye or red hair rinse will also help you to brighten up the red tones of your hair.

If you are on a look out for a very vivacious red color all you have to do is bleach your hair and then use a red hair dye on it. Once you have accomplished your desired look then you should make sure to use only those products, which are specially designed for dyed hair because the red color in the hair tends to lighten quickly.
